Some MYOs need edits (Tail examples updated)

The Minkin Database is 90% complete!

...However, because of some much mulled over decisions, Minkin that were made during the MYO contest may have to undergo some revisions regarding scales and tails. You will be reimbursed for the price of the MYO regardless of whether or not you placed. We want our species to be recognizable as Minkin or MYO designs in general to not be overly powerful or look god-like, so these changes are necessary.

Things that need revisions
Excess/dragon-like scale cover
Short and thick tails
Tails without a tuft of fur on the end

EDIT: We understand your concerns and the other journal was wiped for neatness so that other players can post to the journal for approval/changes.

All changes were considered with how they’ll effect people, and if the character in question has so much art I do not mind paying you back for the total amount of commissioned pieces.

As for tails, you do not need to change the type of tail. Just the length. Congratulations if you got something rare.

A very small amount of Minkin will need edits and it is just moving scales and plates to the allowed areas. There will be absolutely no other changes to the species that will effect you.







Please note that continuing to argue with me and white knight your friends about this will not change my mind.

This isn't about you being prevented from having something special and rare; we refuse to "grandfather them in" because the point is that we don't want dragon-like minkin to exist AT ALL on a normal scale. They are considered god-like in the lore. Why? Because they don't look like Minkin. They look like dragons.

The tail rule has ALWAYS been in place but we had over 200 entries for the contest and we couldn't catch them all. The examples are just here for clarification.
